Functional BA - SAP FICO

Job Description

   Constellation Search Group is seeking a Functional Business Analyst with experience in SAP FICO for a full-time direct hire position. The Functional Business Analyst will be instrumental in achieving critical business objectives through effective requirements gathering and the application of technology solutions. Responsibilities include analysis, design, configuration, testing, training, documentation, deployment, and maintenance of IT capabilities within their area of expertise, focusing primarily on SAP FICO and its integration with SD and MM modules.   
 
 
     Responsibilities:   
      
  •    Implement and configure SAP to enhance and add functionalities, and support SAP users company-wide to standardize and automate business processes effectively.  
    •   
  •    Maintain in-depth, current knowledge of processes and systems in the area of expertise.  
    •   
  •    Perform root cause analysis and develop solutions to address business challenges, improve functionality, and implement new requirements.  
    •   
  •    Configure SAP and its bolt-ons in the Finance and Controlling area.  
    •   
  •    Collaborate with corporate IT and business teams to analyze and document requirements, and assess impacts for new demands.  
    •   
  •    Manage and deliver projects in the FICO area, ensuring timely delivery for each project phase.  
    •   
  •    Generate and execute test plans to ensure the quality and assess the impact on all platforms and regions.  
    •   
  •    Design data integrations and provide testing and impact assessment in collaboration with the integration team.  
    •   
  •    Serve as vendor liaison with third parties for development and integration purposes.  
    •   
  •    Coordinate system changes and enhancements, ensuring effective communication.  
    •   
  •    Document all enhancements, implementations, and interfaces at technical and business levels.  
    •   
  •    Provide training and coaching to peers and foster a self-help environment among super users, end users, and business managers.  
    •   
  •    Provide timely and efficient second-tier support, supplementing the super user community.  
    •   
  •    Stay informed on technology evolution, identifying and assessing useful solutions or applications.  
    •  
     Qualifications:   
      
  •    6 years of related experience as an SAP IT Business Analyst in Finance and Controlling (FICO).  
    •   
  •    Comprehensive functional SAP knowledge in Finance and Controlling, with profound knowledge of the integration between FICO, SD, and MM, including configuration and setup.  
    •   
  •    Proactive in identifying and mitigating business/IT risks, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.  
    •   
  •    Strong business acumen and functional business knowledge for processes included in the service.  
    •   
  •    Effective written and verbal communication skills with all levels of business and technical audiences.  
    •   
  •    Excellent listening skills to fully understand business needs.  
    •

     Salary Disclaimer:   
    The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.
