Job Description

   Constellation Search Group is seeking a Product Manager for a full-time direct hire position. The Product Manager will support the development and expansion of products that address critical customer needs. This role will focus on new product development, incorporating customer insights and market requirements into the stage-gate process. The global product management team is responsible for managing the entire life cycle of the product portfolio.   
 
 
     Responsibilities:   
      
  •    Lead new product development of assigned products within the HVAC-R market.  
    •   
  •    Own Voice of Customer insights for new products and positioning updates.  
    •   
  •    Analyze market problems and product solutions, focusing on customer value from offerings.  
    •   
  •    Shape and champion new segments by synthesizing and analyzing VOC insights.  
    •   
  •    Evaluate potential new business opportunities and make recommendations by analyzing market strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.  
    •   
  •    Build pricing and profitability analyses and develop business cases.  
    •   
  •    Lead the cross-functional HVAC-R market team throughout the stage-gate development process.  
    •   
  •    Accountable for delivering key achievements aligned to overall revenue targets.  
    •   
  •    Execute on plan targets using metrics and adjust based on performance.  
    •   
  •    Serve as the global knowledge source for sharing standard methodologies, competitive information, and product performance specifications.  
    •   
  •    Enable peer-to-peer sharing of best practices and key success factors.  
    •   
  •    Interface with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Executive Leadership.  
    •  
     Qualifications:   
      
  •    Education: BS in Engineering, MBA or equivalent experience.  
    •   
  •    Minimum 5 years of product management experience or equivalent in sales/marketing with B2B mechanical industrial products.  
    •   
  •    Experience or working knowledge of leak/pressure testing, HVAC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, or related tools or industries preferred.  
    •   
  •    Proven ability to identify new business opportunities, set and meet objectives, and develop strong working relationships across all organizational levels.  
    •   
  •    Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and communication skills; strong analytical, project management, and planning skills.  
    •
