Job Description
Constellation Search Group is seeking a Project Manager (PMP) for a full-time direct hire position. The Project Manager will oversee construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery while meeting required quality standards. The role involves collaboration with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to manage all phases of the construction process effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, schedule, and manage construction activities from start to finish.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders to define project scope and requirements.
- Develop project budgets, estimates, and timelines, and monitor performance against them.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, reports, and schedules.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental guidelines.
- Identify, mitigate, and resolve project risks and issues.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are being met.
- Procure materials, equipment, and labor in alignment with project needs and budget.
- Manage change orders and maintain updated project plans and financials.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- 3 years of experience in construction project management, utility construction industry preferred.
- PMP certification.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in project management software (P6/Primavera preferred) and Excel experience is a must.
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial or residential construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
